KNOW

Know Him, Know the Need.

Growing in our knowledge of God through His word is the first step to being involve in what He is doing.

Knowing God is the main force driving believers to go beyond their borders to share the Gospel with those who have never heard it before. Jesus’ disciples, Peter and John, said this when threatened to stop sharing: “…we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.” (Acts 4) The Apostle Paul wrote: “…knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men…” (2 Corinthians 5) and later in that chapter: “For the love of God compels…” speaking on the reason for them to share Jesus’ message with others.

Second, before you can determine the extent of your involvement you first must know the need.

You might be surprised by this, but many today still think that majority of the world has a good understanding at least of who Jesus is, what He did for them, and what God’s Word (the Bible) says even if they do not believe in it. This belief could not be further from the truth, hence the need to know the need.

We have compiled a series of resources we believe could aid you as you desire to grow in the two areas of “knowing” we mentioned above. To access them, click the “RESOURCES” button below.

And when they had summoned them, they commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to give heed to you rather than to God, you be the judge; for we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.” When they had threatened them further, they let them go (finding no basis on which to punish them) on account of the people, because they were all glorifying God for what had happened;

Therefore, knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest to God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences…

For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.

You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. ‘For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”                        2 Corinthians 9:7

We would ask if you would prayerfully consider giving to support our ministry but know that there is no pressure. We are trusting God to provide for our needs, as we hope you are too. How you choose to support our ministry is between you and the Lord! We trust that God is working in each of us to give cheerfully and live generously.
