Resources and Time.
The task of reaching the nations was entrusted to us, the Church, to be done through the empowering of the Holy Spirit by faith. Any involvement we decide to have in it whether going, praying or giving, should be done being led by the Spirit and by faith.
Our sending organization, Ethnos360, is a faith-based organization. We do not receive a salary from them (although funding does go through them for accountability, security, and tax purposes). Rather, we rely on the support of churches, families, and individuals. We believe God will provide for this work He has called us to join Him in.
The moment we step in faith and decide to be involved in what God is doing in the world through His Church, we need to be ready to be dependent on others.
The Church we are talking about here is the International body of believers who have trusted Jesus; sometimes referred to as the Universal Church. We, the Church, are also described in the Bible as a body formed by many members and each of these members has a vital role. We cannot function independent of each other.
We invite you to consider giving one of the most valuable things you can give (the one thing we believe this world most desperately wants from you), your time. Whether reading our updates, praying for us and our ministry, challenging others with missions, or taking some time off to come and serve with us, we are very grateful for your time. If you are interested in finding out about possibly coming to visit please contact us using the link below.
but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and as far as the remotest part of the earth.”
Acts 1:8 NASB
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20 NASB
For just as we have many parts in one body and all the body’s parts do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually parts of one another.
Romans 12:4-5 NASB
